Easy to put together
Silver Cross Slumber is an excellent travel cot. It's simple to set up and use. It's designed to serve as an ideal bedside crib that keeps your baby close at all times of the night, and allowing you to feed them without having to get out of bed. It's also light and compact and is ideal for travel.
The crib is easy to assemble using poles that you bend into the position and a sheet to be able to slide over the mattress. Once it's set up it's time to place your baby inside. Mom tester Emily says it took her a couple of attempts to master the art of assembling it but once she had it figured out it was quick and easy. The daughter also slept well.
It includes a mattress that folds and a newborn bassinet that makes it suitable from the time of birth. It also comes with a side-zip that means you can lay with your baby while they sleep and then place them in the crib and zip it up to ensure safety. This is a great choice if you're used to co-sleeping and are looking to continue it for as long as possible.

The Halo My Crib requires a bit more effort to put together than other travel cots however, it's not a challenge. She also appreciated its size, saying it was bigger than a Moses basket but not so large that it felt like it was over-sized. She found it was easy to find bedding for and that the mattress was of good quality, unlike some she's seen which feel flimsy or thin.

The mattress is comfortable and feels wonderful to the touch. The fabric is machine washable and is durable. However the mattress is shallower than most and our mom tester Kathryn discovered it was quite low to the ground, meaning she had to bend down to get her child for bedtime.
It's a bit heavier, but still quite light and compact. cheap bedside cot to put together and its four mesh sides provide ventilation and better visibility. It also features a handy changing station with a nightlight, music and changing station however our mother tester Nicola found that her older child Olly did not really appreciate the additional features, and she found them to make her work more difficult in the dark.
